Many of you are probably not surprised, but I have a new project coming up, and I'm excited to be at this stage of the game, where I am looking for local amateur talent to help me pull it off.
I've written a script for a sitcom pilot that I will be producing, directing, and acting in, but I really need three more local gals who love acting, vino, and pizza to help me pull it off; otherwise, I'll be forced to pull off some sort of Eddy Murphy...Tyler Perry-esque one-woman show, and I'd really prefer to avoid that.

Casting Call for Sitcom Pilot "The Clinic”
Title: Front Desk Frenzy
Genre: Situational Comedy
In the chaotic world of The Clinic, Kris Kickingtop, the energetic Practice Administrator, takes on the challenge of training Mallory, the front desk receptionist. As Kris attempts to demonstrate her expertise in handling calls, hilarious mishaps and misunderstandings ensue. Meanwhile, Hank, the oblivious part-time Medical Assistant, adds to the chaos. Can Kris juggle the mayhem and maintain the clinic's reputation?
Description: We are casting for three regular amateur actors for a new sitcom pilot episode, "The Clinic," styled like "The Office." This is a passion project, and compensation will be in the form of food and credit.
Roles Needed:
Mallory - The Ditzy Know-It-All Receptionist:
Age: 20s to early 30s
Gender: Female
Personality: Bubbly, cheerful, confident in her incorrect knowledge
Skills: Strong comedic timing, ability to improvise
Video Audition Requirements: Prepare a short monologue showcasing Mallory's know-it-all but totally wrong attitude.
2. Brandy - Gossipy Medical Assistant:
Age: Late 20s to late 30s
Gender: Female
Personality: Sharp (in her own head), sassy, loves gossip, thrives on drama and stirring the pot - total everyone else is to blame indignified attitude
Skills: Fast-paced dialogue delivery, strong facial expressions
Audition Requirements: Perform a scene where Brandy shares gossip with her coworker
3. Layla - Gossipy Medical Assistant:
Age: Late 20s to late 30s
Gender: Female
Personality: More reserved than Brandy, secretly enjoys gossip but more repressed than Brandy, good at reacting
Skills: Reactionary acting, strong comedic timing
Video Audition Requirements: Perform a scene reacting to a co-worker’s gossip.
Filming Information:
Location: Metairie, Louisiana
Availability: Actors must be available for filming between June 16 and July 30th, 2024.
