We are here to help you succeed! Your success is our success! Our nurse will take your pulse & blood pressure.

You will weigh privately on our special body fat analysis scale and will receive a printed report. You will attend a class on nutrition that can be done in the office or over the phone or by email. We will teach you what and when to eat. We will give you detailed information on our program. The cost of the class, pulse, blood pressure & weigh-in is $40.00. We allow a few days between your class and doctor visit, to give you a chance to review the program and write down any questions for the doctor. The doctor will review your medical history, current medications, and any weight related information. The doctor will develop a weight loss plan designed for you. The cost of the new patient doctor visit is $75.00. Injections
We offer Lipo-Den, Lipo-Plex and B-12 injections given only by an experienced LPN or RN. Injections are given in your hip with a small needle and are usually painless. We get you in & out quickly for injections, no appointment needed. When you are approved by the physician to take the Lipo-Den injection, three injections are required during the first ten days on the program. Then you will take a weekly injection to maintain. Lipo-Den & Lipo-Plex injections are $15


We use several different FDA approved appetite suppressants to provide you with one that will not make you feel jittery, but will control your appetite. If you choose to take an appetite suppressant and are approved by our physician, you will need to make an appointment to see the doctor monthly. The cost is $75.00. Our Story

Healthy Size Clinic has been in operation in the Jennings, La. location since 2006 and has thence expanded to the Lake Charles La. area in January of 2016. We are a medically supervised weight loss clinic and work to help educate our community on the dangers and health risks of obesity and to encourage healthy lifestyle and nutrition guidance. We want to work with you to help you to lose weight and keep it off!

Our nurse will take your pulse & blood pressure. You will weigh privately on our special body fat analysis scale and will receive a printed report. You will attend a class on nutrition and we will layout a customized plan for your specific needs and/or comfort level. We will teach you what and when to eat. We will give you detailed information on our program.

Injections We offer Lipotropic / B-12 injections given only by an experienced LPN or RN. Injections are given in your hip with a small needle and are usually painless. We get you in & out quickly for injections, no appointment needed. When you are approved to take the Lipotropic/B12 injections, three injections are highly recommended during the first ten days on the program. This will increase and build up the levels in your system and you will take a weekly injection thereafter to maintain. Lipotropic injections are $15. and the B12 injections are $12. Lipotropic injections are not mandatory and are not required for participation in our program. Our nurse on staff can approve you and you may start your lipotropic injections the same day as your first appointment consultation if desired. If you choose to take the prescription appetite suppressants you will then schedule a visit with our physician. We use several different FDA approved appetite suppressants to provide you with one that will not make you feel jittery, but will control your appetite. The use of the prescription appetite suppressant will be based upon approval from our physician and are not mandatory for the program. If you choose to take the prescription appetite suppressant, and are approved by our physician, you will need to make an appointment to see the doctor monthly for monitoring and for renewal of the prescription.

The doctor will review your medical history, current medications, and any weight related information. The doctor will develop a weight loss plan designed for you. We are pleased to have the following physician on our staff: Penny Goodwin, M.D.
