We could “live every week like it’s Shark Week” - everyone had so much fun last week during Shark Week Camp 🦈🦈🦈
We learned about different sharks, their behavior, and how important they are. We made sharks, played in the “ocean”, used science experiments, moved like sharks and other ocean animals, created ocean animals where sharks live, and so much more 🦈🪼🐠🐡🐬 we may just have to keep the excitement going next week 😉 …. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming 🐠

We had a super 4th of July Camp week; learning about America, making flags, singing songs about America , science experiments, creating fireworks with paint and shaving cream and even salt and glue, sharing the Pledge of Allegiance 🇺🇸 So many fun and engaging activities about America —

During Space Camp we learned about planets, stars, and the solar system . We had science experiments and rockets blasting. Our little astronauts enjoyed their space exploration!!

💚 Meet Our New BCBA, Kaycee Everett! 💚

We’re thrilled to welcome Kaycee to the LINKS ABA Therapy family! As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Kaycee brings 3½ years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and a heartfelt passion for helping children and families thrive.

Kaycee has served as a clinical supervisor in clinical and school settings, specializing in school readiness, life skills, toilet training, functional communication, family partnerships, and Pediatric Feeding Disorders. Her compassionate, collaborative approach, grounded in evidence-based and ethical practices, aligns perfectly with our mission to provide comprehensive ABA programs while nurturing families and honoring God in our service.

When not at the clinic, Kaycee loves exploring Louisiana State Parks with her kids, adventuring with her significant other, and junk journaling. She’s excited to connect with our families and make a positive impact in our community!

Another amazing week of building relationships and learning.
We started this week (Holy week) making palms and learning about Palm Sunday when Jesus entered Jerusalem.
We engaged in many social and independent activities, such as dramatic play, sharing information in our peer group, group imitation, and peer modeling.
Next we learned about Jesus in the temple, and made a visual representation with coins.
And we ended our week learning about when Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethemane and the Last Supper. We even shared a ‘snack’ with our friends like Jesus did.
