Here are some quick tips for a safe Halloween!

As trick-or-treating approaches, remember that sharing the road is the responsibility of drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists alike. Drivers, here are a few ways you can help make the roads safer this Halloween:
- Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
- Follow the speed limit, especially in neighborhoods and school zones.
- Never pass vehicles stopped at a crosswalk.
- Be extra cautious when backing up.

We want to share with you an update regarding our School Nutrition Program for the 2025-2026 school year. Due to the natural disasters that impacted our area, all students in our district have been able to eat breakfast and lunch in our cafeterias at no charge for the last several years. The USDA will no longer be fully covering the cost of meals for students who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch, so the district will be covering the additional cost of these meals next school year. This will ensure that all of our students can continue to eat breakfast and lunch for free. Our students receiving warm, healthy meals is critical to their educational success, and it’s important to us to do all we can to continue fueling hungry minds. We look forward to the year ahead in the cafeteria!
