Every spring, something shifts in the clinic. The 3 and 4-year-olds start coming in — kids whose parents are watching them run to first base, and noticing that their feet turn in a little, or that they trip more than seems right for their age.
Here's what's usually going on: their bodies are growing fast, and their proprioception (their brain's sense of where their body is in space) is still catching up. It's incredibly common, and it's something adjustments can genuinely support. All athletes (big and small) should be getting adjusted to help their bodies adapt!
