While we have traditionally accepted walk-ins, we are no longer able to reliably accommodate unscheduled visits. To ensure you receive the time and attention you deserve, we kindly ask that all patients call ahead before coming to the office.

Calling ahead allows our team to schedule you at the appropriate time and avoid extended wait times or the possibility of needing to return another day.

📞 Please call us before arriving so we can best serve you.

Did you know diabetes can also impact your hearing health?

Studies show people with diabetes are twice as likely to experience hearing loss. High blood sugar levels can damage the tiny blood vessels and nerves in the inner ear, reducing your ability to hear clearly over time.

The good news? Regular hearing checkups can help detect early changes and protect your hearing for the long run.

This month, take charge of your total health — schedule both your annual health screening and your hearing evaluation.

Dear Valued Patient,

Attached is a special letter from Dr. Ram that he wanted to share personally with each of you. We encourage you to take a moment to read it when you can.

We are so grateful for everything Dr. Ram has poured into this community, our practice, and the many patients he has cared for over the years. His compassion and dedication have shaped who we are, and we feel truly honored to continue the legacy he built.

As part of this transition, our practice name will be changing at the start of the new year. Even with this change, please know that the heart of our practice remains the same. Dr. Jordan Strong and Dr. Elizabeth McCutchen will continue to be the same compassionate, committed providers you have trusted and seen in the past.

If you have any questions after reading his letter, we’re always here for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you and your family a warm and joyful Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

The Hearing Center of Lake Charles / The Hearing & Tinnitus Center Team

Did you know stress and tinnitus often go hand in hand?

When stress levels rise, the brain becomes more sensitive to the sounds of ringing or buzzing — making tinnitus feel louder or harder to ignore. The good news? Managing stress through mindfulness, sleep, exercise, and relaxation techniques can make a real difference.

We help you find relief through personalized tinnitus management and stress-reduction strategies that work for your lifestyle.

Take care of your mind — your ears will thank you.
