“My name is William. I came to Lagniappe because of an accident I had at home. At first, I was a grouch. I thought if I smiled my face would crack. Then one day, I went to activities (Thanks, Stephanie). My eyes were opened and I had a totally different outlook. I am a born-again Christian and have been for many years. But ever since that day at the gospel singing. It is like a month-long revival! Perhaps, I was sent here for a reason. So, I decided to set an example. It’s been a great week at Synergy Care!

Because of strong advocacy efforts across the industry, H.R. 7148 has now been signed into law, officially ending the partial government shutdown and funding the government through September 30, 2026.

Most importantly for our therapy teams, the bill includes a two-year extension of telehealth authority, allowing PTs, OTs, and SLPs to continue providing services via telehealth nationwide through December 31, 2027.

We’re grateful for the voices that helped make this possible, and we’ll continue advocating for policies that protect access to care and support the work you do every day.
