Mardi Gras King Cake Contest at The Gardens & Guardian! 👑🎭

Our RCD, Ashley Puckett, came up with the sweetest Mardi Gras idea and our residents were all in! 🥳✨ We kicked off our Mardi Gras King Cake Contest, where our residents get to be the judges and sample King Cakes from local bakeries and even a grocery store right here in the Lake Charles area! 🍰👀

🎉 First up in the contest: Great Harvest
And let us just say… it was SO delicious! 😍💜 The residents absolutely loved it and are already excited for what’s next!

🎭 Until: Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, February 17, 2026

Each week, residents will taste a different King Cake, from classic cinnamon sugar to rich cream cheese, strawberry, and pecan praline flavors. Their votes will decide who takes home the title of 2026 King Cake Champion! 👑🎂
