It was an honor volunteering at the Henry County Spring Fling for Seniors in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Not only did we enjoy the festivities, fellowship, and dancing—we were also able to share valuable Alzheimer’s education and resources with 215 lives in our community. Every conversation matters. Every family touched matters. Every life impacted matters.

I stepped into the world of someone living with dementia… & it changed my perspective completely.

Through a virtual dementia tour, I experienced the confusion, the noise, the discomfort… & the frustration they feel daily.

This wasn’t just educational—it was emotional.

It reminded me that our loved ones are not being difficult… they are navigating a reality we don’t fully understand.
