It's with profound sadness that we share with you that Ms. Marquetta Cherise Anderson affectionately known as "Quetta" was called home to be with the Lord. Please keep the Anderson, Harrington, and Kelly families in your prayers during this difficult time. Her visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, 5pm - 7pm at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, 251 NE Washington Street, Lake City, FL, follow with Family Visitation at The Darby Pavilion 200 NE Hillsboro St, Lake City, FL. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, July 5, 2025, 11am at Richardson Gymnasium, 255 NE Coach Anders Lane, Lake City, FL. Interment will be immediately following at the New St. James Cemetery.

Today, we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrate freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for equality. Let's honor the past, acknowledge the present, and work together for our future.
