It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of TONI D. GRIFFIN-NELSON, of Lake City, Florida on September 14, 2025. Toni is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years Robert Nelson; loving daughter Drayona Denson; her cherished sister and niece Janice Elliott and Marquita Givens; sons Rev. Al Nelson(Trisheka) and Drayton Denson; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, and a host of dear friends.

The family will receive your condolences at a celebration of life on this Saturday, September 20 at 11AM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel located at 251 NE Washington St, Lake City, FL 32055.

The family is asking that we wear purple, Toni’s favorite color, to her celebration of life. The family is thankful for all those who have shared their memories, messages of love, and prayers for Toni.
