This little client was with me for 11 sessions. They substituted the F for TH sound. I used Minimal Pairs to teach them that when the F sound is used in place of TH, it changes the meaning of words. After a few weeks, we moved to practicing the TH sound in sound-loaded sentences (tongue twisters). Six weeks of practicing like this with me (and at home) helped to generalize the sound to conversation. Home practice was key here, as well. This little one showed up today using TH in conversation perfectly. 👏👏

My 6th grade client has challenged me to a "see who can win the most games of mancala until I'm finished with speech" challenge. She pulled ahead today. 😆 Also, articulation cards are Lifesavers for my older students. Tons of repetitions with these.
