Transitions are difficult, yet they spring forth some of the most beautiful results. This Group is in transition too. When I started this Recovery Group, I had no idea exactly what I was doing or how things would unfold. At times I still wonder what is going on here. However I do know that God has planted an idea about this Group/ Project in my mind for a reason and I have a desire to give it what I can! So …….
Welcome to OG RECOVERY PROJECT. This project is not just for those suffering addictions to substances and alcohol. This project is not just for those suffering from mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts and behavior patterns. While all of those mentioned are welcomed here, this Group/Project is designed to help people that have some personal struggles in many areas of life and would like to be connected to some help and support as they walk through their personal life journey. Over the next few weeks/ months, I will be working on adding things to this page and just putting together more information, resources and connections.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know right now is
You are not alone and you and your life are important.
There are people that care and there are resources and connections that can help you through this time of your life.
If you are in need of help or know someone that is, please message me through this page. I will inquire about the situation and get you connected to some information and resources. I also facilitate the “Walking the 12 Steps with Jesus Christ” Curricula so if that is something that you are interested in, we can discuss those options as well.
I want to take this time to thank many of you for your patience and support as we work through these transitions. I am excited about what will come of this page and how we will be able to improve our group meetings when they do start back up again in the future!
Meanwhile the groups are not going to be held regularly until a determined date in the future!
I am looking forward to hearing from some of you!
