We are excited to add a new service to the practice that will help a lot of people. It’s called Shockwave. I have been treating a significant heal injury and after many months of suffering I am finally seeing improvement in 3 treatments. I noticed some change with the first treatment. Here is how it works:

When an injury occurs within your body, your body immediately implements its own healing mechanisms to help naturally repair and restore the tissue, bone, cells and other compromised areas affected by the injury.
When you experience chronic pain, your body is no longer recognizing that there is an injury to that area. As a result, it shuts down the healing process and no further relief is provided, leaving you in a constant state of pain.
The shockwave therapy penetrates deep into your soft tissue, causing a microtrauma or new inflammatory condition to the treated area. This “new injury” triggers your body's natural healing response once again. The energy emitted into the area also causes the cells in the soft tissue to release certain bio-chemicals that intensify the body's natural healing process. I found something that really helped me. Since August I have been testing a pillow I came across. I know that there will never be ONE PILLOW TO FIT THE ALL. However I have not found one that works for me as well as this one does. I REALLY have been sleeping better every night I use it. As a result we will be selling them in my office. We utilize regenerative care in the office like PRP. When this therapy is utilized there cannot be any NSAID use for a period of time before and after injections. It interferes with the bodies natural inflammatory process. And natural response is inflammation, it is going to occur and that’s part of your healing process. Well, if that’s true with Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, wouldn’t it be true with normal healing after injury? The human body is remarkable, and there are so many different aspects with regard to its function and ability to heal itself that over the years we may have been inhibiting by trying to control symptoms.
