And the fun begins!

We have started decorating for halloween. We spent the afternoon assembling, and adding batteries to everything that needed it. We had a few extra minutes, so we took that time to set up a few decorations. Stay tuned for more!

We can't wait to see you at our trick - or - Treating event, October 24th from 5:30-7:00pm!

Happy National Chocolate Covered Pretzels Day!

We spent the afternoon making Chocolate covered pretzels, Halloween style! 🎃

After cooling, we bagged them up to share. 🤗

🌟Simple Wish Granted🌟

Nancy and her husband David, also known as "Aunt Nancy & Uncle Dave", or "Grandma Nancy and Papa Dave", ran a daycare in the small community of Manton. They were also very active in local churches. Nancy loved decorating for every season and holidays to brighten the smiles of her daycare kids. Biggest holidays were always Halloween, Christmas and Easter. For halloween the kids and their family's always got little goodies and made cute crafts. Christmas was the favorite where family and friends got together and played chistmas bingo. She also loved Easter and always had the biggest egg hunt around!

The one thing she misses the most is decorating. When asked what her Simple Wish request is, her eyes got big and stated "I would like to go to Hobby Lobby. I have never been before and I hear they have good decorating items! I would like to decorate outside my door and shadow box for fall, halloween and Christmas!"

Hobby Lobby here we come!
We spent a good 2 hours going around and finding the perfect decorations. With a surprise stop at her favorite drive thru, Wendy's for a frosty on our way home.

After a little rest we spent the evening putting her shadowbox together. Bo surprise she is in love with it! At the end of the day Nancy told everyone how much fun Hobby lobby is and how she would love to go again!
