What an awesome addition to NEA!

✨ A new space. A long-held vision. A stronger response for survivors. ✨

We are proud to share that Family Crisis Center’s Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) program has officially relocated to a stand-alone center at 511 W. Monroe in Jonesboro.

This space was created with survivors in mind—offering a warm, trauma-informed environment where forensic exams can be completed outside of a hospital setting, and where survivors can meet with an advocate for ongoing support and healing, if they choose.

Survivors do not have to be recent victims to receive services. Individuals are welcome to meet with an advocate to talk through past trauma, explore resources, and receive support—whenever they are ready.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place on April 22nd during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, but services are available now. More details regarding the grand opening will be announced at a later date.

Now introducing “Life Restored”, a life skills-based recovery group for women led by our own Ashley Daffron, LADAC. This confidential, trauma-informed group caters to women of all ages who have been personally impacted by:

✔️ Substance use disorders
✔️ Process addictions (s*x, shopping, gambling, po*******hy)
✔️ PTSD, or trauma
✔️ Family dysfunction
✔️ Grief/loss

No insurance? No child care? No transportation? No problem! Group will be offered:

✔️ Regardless of ability to pay
✔️ In a supportive, judgment-free environment
✔️ Access to a children playroom located in our office for the kiddos
✔️ In person AND telehealth

If you have questions or want to join, message our page or call us during the week at 870-237-1329. We are so excited to offer this to local clients AND statewide individuals. More details to come as we gauge interest on days and times.

Mark your calendars for the first 100 Families Initiative of Greene County meeting of 2026 where our own Ashley Daffron will serve as a panelist.

Join us for our first Alliance meeting of 2026! We will meet on January 22nd, 2026 at First United Methodist Church in the youth room. Please note, our meetings have moved to Thursdays!

We will also hear from a CarePortal representative on their expansion into NEA and our upcoming COPE (Cost of Poverty Experience) coming up in February. This expansion is particularly pertinent to local churches! For more info on CarePortal, please visit arfamilyalliance.org/careportal/.
