Braided Earth is closed today through Saturday as I dive into the annual Boston Trauma Conference for continuing education.

This is my second attendance and I am so excited and grateful to continue being a part of this learning group of research, treatments, and protocols for trauma-based care.

Please know it may take a while to respond to if you reach out in any way -- DM, email, phone, etc. -- as classes are 8-11 hours a day.

"We love ourselves some nudes and plants..."

Yesterday Braided Earth welcomed the January artist Sarah Lentz ( .lentz.47 ) to the studio! (More of her art to fill the space this weekend!) With her depictions of nudes and nature, of course we're all smitten at the studio.

Next time you're in for your massage or coaching session (or therapy with or yoga or death services with Erin !), be sure to soak up her watercolor work and purchase any of her paintings or cards at the studio.

Were you unable to get to get studio last month for our first two artists Maggie Wacker of and William "Max" Titkos of ? No worries!

I will have their pieces available at the studio through the end of this week on Saturday, January 7th. Let us know which piece you want from this post and I'll hold it for you until Saturday!

*Pieces must be picked up at the studio -- no delivery.

Welcome to the longest night of the year here in the northern hemisphere.🌌

Each year on this day, I like to spend an hour outside by myself, I do a meditation, and I spend up to an hour in silence with only candles and my fireplace lighting my space while I reflect on the year.

In a part of the world where we have distinct seasons, this time of year is a natural time to go inward. Learn to listen and respond to your body's cues, develop safety in your body, and learn to act in a slower pace to match the nature of winter.

Thank you to all who showed up for our Grand Opening, Open House, and Braided Earth's one year anniversary on Saturday!

It was an absolute blast to share our space with everyone.

It was a beautiful sunny day for hot apple cider, a fire, AWESOME food, and even better company.
