We know most daily products are loaded with toxins, but what about environmental toxins?
Unfortunately our environment is also polluted with chemicals. In fact, environmental toxins are one of the major players in contributing to cancer. The number of chemicals produced, expelled into our environment, & absorbed into our bodies is staggering.
Asbestos is a mineral fiber commonly used in building materials. Asbestos is particularly dangerous because it is easily inhaled & ingested. Asbestos has been known to cause cancer of the lungs, chest, & abdominal lining, but symptoms often don’t show up until many years after exposure.
Lead is toxin even at low levels. Lead can cause serious damage to the brain, kidneys, peripheral nervous stem & more. Check out our post on lead exposure for more information!
Radon is a odorless, colorless gas that has been known to cause lung cancer. Other toxic gases, like natural gas, propane & methane can often be dangerous with leaking pipe fittings, gas valves & defective control equipment.
Public water unfortunately contains hazards to health, such as heavy metals, like lead, mercurial, & arsenic, pesticides, nitrates, bacteria, viruses, parasites, fluoride & chlorine.
EMFs produce magnetic & electric fields. EMFs are potentially the most dangerous because they are unseen wavelengths. These fields comes from radio, TV, home appliances, cell phones, Bluetooth, & any other electrical device. This radiation has undoubtably affected our health, from hormone alterations, chromosomal abnormalities, blood composition changes, & many cancers.
