We provide tools and information to help community members research their ancestry tree.

What we do:
Present programs designed to stimulate interest in family history. Educate the public on methods used, sources available for research and the need for careful documentation. Collect, preserve and disseminate information regarding genealogical and related historical , biographical and heraldic data. Provide and instruct the importance of accuracy and thoroughness in re-search. Champion ethical standards in research and oppose incompetent and disreputable practices of researchers. Maintain a library of genealogical research materials.

General information

Open to the public and free, LEGS meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Lakeland Village Community Center, 16275 Grand Avenue, Lake Elsinore, California 92530 (on Grand Avenue between Santa Rosa Dr. And Blanche Dr.) We do not meet in July, August or December.
