🧠✨ Let’s Talk Sensory — The Hidden Senses!

Most people know the 5 basic senses… but did you know our bodies actually have two more super important sensory systems? 🤯

⭐ Vestibular – This system helps with balance, movement, and knowing where our head and body are in space. It’s why kids love spinning, swinging, and hanging upside down!

💪 Proprioception – This is our body awareness system. It tells our muscles and joints how much force to use so we can climb, jump, squeeze, and crash safely.

These “hidden senses” play a huge role in regulation, coordination, and attention. When kids seek out movement, crash into things, or love tight hugs—they might just be trying to get the input their bodies need!
