My Hypoglycemia got the better of me today and I had a really hard crash... passed out for several hours and never made it to get my lab work today. Starting to feel a little bit better... hopefully tomorrow will be better. Met with my Endocrinologist yesterday and got hooked up with a temporary monitor just in time for them to really catch what's going on with my blood sugar. All my specialists are supposed to be getting a check up with my Endocrinologist so everyone can get on the same page

I got this put on Friday and have to wear it for 14 days. It makes me itchy but it's far better than the wires everywhere. Hopefully they'll figure something out 🤔

I'm tired of being looped around over and over again... I'm a complex patient with so many issues that keep coming back inconclusive or unmanageable. I get hooked up to a 14 day Holter Monitor on Monday then another follow up with cardiologist...still waiting for approval on the dexcom monitor... might not get approved by insurance because I'm not type 1. They did a questionare and found my case as a medical necessity so I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 trying to stay positive ♡

Had my Brain 🧠 Ultrasound on the 26th of May, EEG tomorrow the 3rd. Went to see my Endocrinologist today and other than him reviewing my ongoing issues and my Neurologist's notes I was informed that again complex patient shows up in my notes... we didn't discuss any future plans with my thyroid or surgery involving today. I am to continue monitoring my vitals and he ordered more lab work than said "I'll see you in 3 months and I hope you don't have to have Brain surgery"
On the 11th I see my primary again and the 16th I will see my Neurologist again
Apparently the carotid arteries are the bigger concern and my Endocrinologist is hopeful that addressing this 1st might help correct some of my problems. There's a possibility that I am having minor strokes or seizures associated with the carotid arteries.

I had my ultrasound on my Brain 🧠 and have my EEG on Thursday...I see my Endocrinologist tomorrow morning. Playing phone tag with the disability lawyer and just trying to relax and beat the heat today...there's so much to do but not much actually happening today

Just finished up my appointment with my Neurologist and I have a corroded artery in my brain. The next steps are ultrasound and EET so we can find out more

Yesterday was day 1 of quitting smoking...it was incredibly rough and I ended up smoking 1 cigarette before bed. Mike told me that going from 2 packs a day to 1 cigarette before bed was still awesome and that I'm doing great not to be discouraged. I think the patches are helping a little bit it's mostly the physical part I'm having problems with. The lozenges aren't helping at all they just make me want to puke. Mike has been a great support trying to quit with me and everyone else around me has taken into consideration my concerns about seeing and smelling making my cravings spike. My dad spent the day with us yesterday and I don't think I've ever seen him smoke so little...I'm Trying like crazy to be strong I know it's a rough road but I have faith that I can and will be successful this time! My life depends on it, can't have thyroid surgery without quitting and it's going to be better for me and my boys 💙

Got brought in a week early for my 1 month check up with my Endocrinologist. My labs weren't great last time so I had to do more blood work again. Thyroid surgery is becoming a big possibility so I'm being prescribed patches and lozenges to help me quit smoking. Got print outs for comparison for my thyroid ultrasounds to put in my medical binder. Heading home to call my Neurologist and schedule another appointment with my Gastroenterologist. Love and Blessings to All ♡
