💫Taking care of your mental health during times of fear and unrest is essential! Here are some grounded, supportive steps you can take:💫
1.Limit Media Consumption📺
Stay informed, but avoid constant exposure. Set specific times to check reliable news sources and give yourself space from social media or sensational content that heightens anxiety.
2.Ground Yourself in Daily Routine ⏰
When the world feels uncertain, structure creates stability. Wake up and go to bed at consistent times, eat nourishing meals, move your body, and create small rituals that bring peace.
3.Practice Mind-Body Techniques 🧘♀️
Engage in practices that regulates the nervous system:
- Breathwork ( like Soma Breath or Box Breathing)
-Acudetox or ear acupressure
- Access Bars or other calming body processes
-Meditation or Neuromeditation
- Gentle movements (yoga, walking, stretching )
4.Connect with Supportive People 👩🏻🏫
Isolation fuels distress. Talk to someone you trust, join a supportive group, or reach out to a practitioner - energy healing , therapy, or a coach.
5. Name Your Emotions 🤬
Journaling or simply saying how you feel can diffuse emotional overwhelm . Suppressed emotions tend to grow, expressed emotions tend to pass.
6.Focus on What You Can Control 🤩
Make small choices each day that affirm your agency- what you eat, how you respond, how you treat others, what you prioritize.
7.Return to Nature⛰️
Time in nature resets the body and mind. Even a few minutes outside can shift your state. Try grounding barefoot, listening to birds, or watching clouds.
8.Use Energy Tools if They Resonate💆🏻♀️
Modalities like Reiki, Sound Healing, or Roxiva Light Therapy can calm the system, shift perspective , and offer clarity in chaotic times.
9. Seek Meaning and Purpose👼
Fear loses power when we connect to what matters. This might be through spirituality , service , creativity, or simply being present with those you love. ❤️ 🙏
