The stage of breast cancer that you can die from is metastatic breast cancer. When breast cancer cells break away from the tumor in the breast and begin to grow in another part of your body (places like your bones, liver, lungs, brain, etc.) this is called metastasis. No matter where the cancer spreads to it is still breast cancer (i.e. liver metastasis is not liver cancer). Once breast cancer metastasizes the disease is considered incurable, and ultimately fatal.

At METAvivor our mission is to fund research focused on learning exactly how and why breast cancer metastasizes, and how we can develop more effective, well tolerated treatments in order to stop this spread. Every single breast cancer patient, regardless of their stage, will benefit from this research because if we can halt metastasis and ultimately put the brakes on this disease’s ability to take up residence in vital organs then no one will die from breast cancer.

100% of every donation funds metastatic breast cancer research. Don’t ignore stage IV.

A HUGE thank you for all the support that we were provided at our collaboration event with United Shore Professional Baseball League and Jimmy John's Field! The continued support we receive continues to leave us speechless. All funds raised will be provided to individuals/families facing the trials & tribulations that a metastatic cancer diagnosis can bring. From the bottom of our hearts thank you! Tonight’s the night for our partnership with Jimmy John's Field for the 7:05pm game! For every ticket purchased previously underneath our name, Metastatica will be provided $10! Thank you so much to all of those that will be attending and supporting us tonight! It means the world, with ALL all proceeds going directly to individuals/families that have been touched with metastatic cancer. Don’t forget to wear your Metastatica swag if you have some in your closet! ⚾️

Not only is Mario talented, gives personalized touches to his events, has an amazing personality, but he also has a heart of gold.
