SEM;COLON has decided to postpone tomorrow’s teen mental health first aid training. We firmly believe, especially following the events of this week, that more mental health awareness and training are vital for our community. However, we feel that right now it’s more important to heal.

We would like for everyone to take this time to open up the conversation with your loved ones. During the recent break from school and work, many people found themselves home alone with their thoughts. We as a community are becoming burnt out. Take time to focus on your needs and the needs of those around you.

We have witnessed the tragedies our community is going through. We are planning on creating resources to help with our community's healing however we can.

The Addiction Prevention Coalition will come to the CEPA on November 28th @ 5pm to talk about Teen Mental Health Aid. Learn how to help, and be a part of the solution to this age of mental health crisis.

We are hosting this event for the whole community, though the main audience is 15-18-year-olds. We encourage all teens to attend and in support of that, we will be serving free food for our teen audience.

We can not wait to see you guys there! If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask!

HUGE NEWS

We have partnered up with CEPA to host a Teen Mental Health First Aid training!

This allows people like you and me to receive training on how to react to and handle tough situations that one might find themself in. It will also enlighten those who attend on how to help others that are struggling as well.

The training will be held on November 28 from 5-7pm at the CEPA and is recommended for students and parents.

Can’t wait to see you guys there! We will discuss our November and December projects.
