UPDATE: The wildfire has grown and we have closed the Buena Vista clinic for the rest of the day in order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience, but scheduled patients should be receiving phone calls of their cancelled appointments. The Walk-In Clinic is also closed; please be advised our Salida Health Center Walk-In Clinic is still open today from 3-5pm. If you have an emergency medical issue, please go to our Emergency Department.
There is currently a wildfire burning approximately 11 miles north of Buena Vista, in the Morrison Creek subdivision area.
Evacuations have begun for anyone living within 2 miles of the wildfire, with pre-evacuations occurring within 5 miles of the wildfire.
We are closing the Buena Vista Health Center for the rest of the day to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Staff will be trying to call patients to cancel appointments, but may not have power to do so. Please be aware of this and do not come to the clinic at this time.
