🌟 Event Recap: VC-CAMFT Annual Pre-License Job Fair! 🌟

On June 15, 2024, from 9 AM to 11 AM, the Ventura County Chapter of CAMFT, in partnership with California Lutheran University, held our annual pre-license job fair. It was an incredible event with a fantastic turnout!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rachel McMurry, MA, LMFT, Sarah Fultz, MA, LMFT, APCC, Heidi Mezzatesta, LMFT, PhD, from VC-CAMFT, and Lisa Wolfe, Coordinator for Clinical Training at Cal Lutheran. Participants were greeted with donuts, coffee, and VC-CAMFT goody bags, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 🎉

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students appreciating the diverse range of sites and opportunities for their future clinical work. Rachel's personal connections and Sarah's tech-savvy enhancements provided a wonderful depth of presence for our chapter.

We had 16 different vendors from around the county and about 50 graduating students seeking positions. The event was a great success, and many vendors are already looking forward to next year's event!

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible. Your support helps us continue to build a strong community for future mental health professionals. 💙
