It has been a very busy season!
A couple of months ago, I had the honor of participating in an incredible project that is going to change the way churches provide mental health support to their people.
The pandemic exposed the high amounts of people struggling with mental health issues, and, the inadequacy of the church in being able to help.
NO MORE!!! The launched an incredible Mental Health Coaching Certification program to equip pastors and lay ministers in mental health first aide. Thousands and thousands are already putting their skills to practice. But what excites me most is that the program will launch IN SPANISH in a couple of months. I’ll be talking more about this very soon. For now, here are some pics of the visit when we taped some of the curriculum in Spanish in Lynchburg, VA.

-He loved bow ties and the color Orange. In this picture right here I was holding onto his arm as if he was the anchor to keep me afloat! My very first s*x therapy class. I kept on thinking if I really had what it took. Right in this picture he told me “not only you have what it takes, but the world desperately needs female missionaries speaking truth about s*x!” That is the day my journey truly began as a s*x evangelist!
His departure to join the God he so much loved leaves me hanging. He continued to be my supervisor after supervision was over. Dr. Doug, you did not give us any warnings. I will have to figure it out. Like you said many times, “trust the science that you’ve learned, and listen to your heart connected to God’s”
Hoping to grow more like you every day!
