Another great event to raise money for a much needed cure for Dementia and Alzheimer's (8th annual Movin' for Memory Walk). Thank you for having us out and allowing Neighbors to sponsor and be a part of it. Thank you to our Caregivers and Friends for sharing our passion and caring for our Seniors by coming out to help, "Walking the Walk". All of the sponsers and event coordinators were Awesome!

Responsibilities:
• Reports to RN Care Services Manager and Executive Director
• Provide quality resident care as indicated on the care plan
• Promote resident’s independence
• Participate in community's Life Enrichment Activities, events and outings, while encouraging residents to attend
• Additional duties as assigned
• 16 Residents at each building

Qualifications:
• Experienced Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) per state requirements
• High School Diploma or GED or 1-2 years of relevant experience
• The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed
• The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
• Medication technician, certification as a medication technician is required
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously with other employees and develop/maintain good employee relations and employee morale
• Exhibit good time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Express compassion for residents, staff and guests on a consistent basis
• Engage others in fun and creative activities
• Strive for excellence in all aspects of the job
• Work with integrity in all interactions
• Demonstrate humility
• Be able to work in a team, share, and collaborate on different ideas

Neighbors Assisted Living is seeking multiple new members for the following current openings - Medication Technician. We are looking for qualified, compassionate people that are self starters and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:

Medication Technician
• All Caregiver responsibilities
• Monitor and manage medications assigned to residents
• Administer Medication to each resident as prescribed by Doctors office
• Count out medication cart at beginning and end of each shift
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Qualifications:
• Medication Technician Certification
• Previous experience in caregiving or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with Residents
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong and responsible work ethics
