This isn’t about doubt it’s about trust.

Not all providers have the same training, and that’s okay it’s there to keep you safe. The right provider will always be open and honest with you.
We’re here to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every time

One of the most important things we believe in is that you feel safe, confident, and truly cared for—every single time you walk through our doors (or any provider’s).

As your providers, we welcome your questions… and we want you to ask them.

You have every right to know:
• Who is performing your treatment
• What their credentials and licensing are
• What training and experience they have
• Who is overseeing your care, if applicable

This isn’t about doubt—it’s about trust. And trust is built through honesty, transparency, and education.

The truth is, not all training or scope of practice is the same, and these exists to protect you. A qualified, ethical provider who is performing under their scope of practice will always respect that and be happy to have an open conversation.

For example:
-A laser technician may be trained and certified to perform certain laser treatments such as hair reduction and non-ablative treatments, typically under medical direction, but they do not and cannot do ablative treatments like a Co2’s or inject dermal fillers/Botox or even B-12’s or peptides.
-A Registered Nurse (RN) may perform treatments like injections or medical procedures such as Dermal Fillers/Botox/ablative Co2’s, when properly trained and working under an appropriate medical provider, depending on state regulations.
-A medical assistant may help with patient care, prep, and support tasks, and in some settings may perform certain treatments under supervision such as injections like B-12 or GLP-1’s—but they do not inject Dermal Fillers/Botox or independently perform advanced medical procedures.

These differences matter—not to confuse you, but to help you understand who is best qualified for each type of treatment.

We care deeply about our patients/clients and our community, and we want you to feel empowered wherever you choose to go.

Please never feel uncomfortable asking questions—you deserve safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate care always.

The Story

Anna Williams, Owner of Define Medical Esthetics, based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She moved here in 1989 and met her loving and supportive husband when she obtained a job as his office manager in 1996. She has three adult sons, an adult daughter, and two adorable grandchildren. She managed her husband’s three companies for over 20 years, after he opened his third business, she decided to pursue a degree in nursing. Anna is a master injector, certified in many treatments, and loves learning new and upcoming procedures that she can bring to Define Medical Esthetic’s clientele.

Here at Define Medical Esthetics we epitomize integrity, hard work, honesty, compassion, caring and creativity in every detail of your esthetic procedure. We specialize in customizing treatments for each individual’s uniqueness and treat everyone like family.
