Early Release Schedule changes are coming for the Lake Havasu Unified School District for the 2026–2027 school year. As we plan ahead, we’d love your input to better support your schedules.

Meet Tess Cooper, one of our incredible Milemarkers alumni!

🎓 Program: Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certificate Program — Northern Arizona University
💡 What stuck with her: The unwavering support from her program director
🧠 Big takeaway: Learning how to blend skills from past training into real therapeutic practice
🗣 Advice for students: “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”

Tess brings a unique edge to her work—twice certified in Phonetics (as an EFL Instructor and SLPA), she’s trained her ear to truly hear sound production and her mind to understand the motor development behind it.
