🍪 Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day from Gems Assisted Living! 🍪

Today, we’re celebrating one of life’s sweetest joys — warm, gooey, chocolate chip cookies! 😋 Our residents had a blast baking (and tasting!) fresh cookies straight from the oven. Laughter, memories, and the sweet smell of chocolate filled the halls.

Special thanks to our amazing team who made this day extra delicious. From classic recipes to a few creative twists, every bite was made with love 💕

A huge THANK YOU to Desiree Davidson and Trisha from Living Water Hospice for bringing so much joy to our residents with your fun Tattoos & Brews event!

Our residents had an absolute blast—once they got one tattoo, they just couldn’t stop! 😄 It truly lit up their day, and it was heartwarming to see so many smiles and so much excitement as they picked out their favorite designs.

Even our caregivers joined in on the fun, and the owner of Gems walked away with a full tattoo sleeve! 😍

What an incredible day filled with laughter, creativity, and connection. We’re so grateful for partners like you who help make these special moments happen.

We've had a FIN-tastic time celebrating Shark Week all week long! 🐟💙

We kicked things off with delicious Shark Attack Ice Cream Sundaes 🍨🦈, followed by fun shark-themed games, and even pieced together an awesome shark puzzle! 🧩

Residents have also been enjoying educational and thrilling programming from the Discovery Channel every day — it’s been both fun and fascinating! 📺🌊

💐 National Gorgeous Grandma Day at Gems Assisted Living 💐

Today we celebrated National Gorgeous Grandma Day by pampering the incredible women here at Gems 💖

Our lovely residents were treated to relaxing facials, had their hair styled and curled, and got a touch of glam with makeup. They even picked out beautiful jewelry to complete their looks! ✨

We enjoyed mimosas and a delicious charcuterie board while laughter and smiles filled the room. Many of our grandmas told us how beautiful they felt, and it truly touched our hearts. 💕

A huge THANK YOU to Lisa from Arizona Life Hospice for helping make the day so special, and to Amber and her husband Robert for capturing these precious moments with professional photos. 📸

It was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. 💝

Today we celebrated National Lottery Day in the most exciting way — by treating our residents and staff to lottery tickets! 💰🧧

The room was full of smiles, laughter, and the sound of scratching as everyone hoped for that big win. 🪙✨ Between all our lucky winners, we gathered a few small prizes and are now trying to decide what fun treat we should buy with our collective winnings. 🍦🎁

The real jackpot, though? Seeing everyone have so much fun together. ❤️
