🚌 Out & About This Week!
It’s been a fun-filled week here at Avista!

🛍️ On Tuesday, our residents enjoyed a lovely outing to JCPenney—a little retail therapy, some window shopping, and of course, lots of smiles!

📚 On Thursday, we took a peaceful trip to the Havasu Branch Library, where our book lovers explored new reads and cozy corners.

🎲 Back at home, the fun continued with a few lively rounds of Mexican Train—a favorite dominoes game that always brings out the laughs and a little friendly competition!

We love making every week special for our amazing residents. 💙

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, and great memories as we kicked off our Rodeo Party! 🐴🤠

Residents, staff, and everyone in between came together for a day of delicious food, toe-tapping music, and a whole lot of fun! 🎶🍽️ We even had a few “wanted” residents join in the fun… and trust us, the laughs were endless. 😂

A huge thank you to Fiorella for leading an amazing chair yoga session that got everyone moving and grooving! 🧘‍♀️🌟

Our residents shared that this party was even better than the last one! We couldn’t agree more — it’s the joy of being together that makes these moments so special. 🥳

A big thank you to our incredible staff for making today unforgettable. Can’t wait for the next one! 💖

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to River Valley Hospice for hosting such a meaningful Veterans Salute yesterday! Your kindness and care truly touched our hearts — and especially meant the world to our honored residents: Jane, J, Tom, Stephen, Barbara, Bruce, and Jack.

From the thoughtful ceremony to the warm conversations, you made our veterans feel celebrated and appreciated — just as they should be. 💙

It was a day full of pride, gratitude, and a few happy tears — the good kind. 😊

🎉 A big THANK YOU to Chancity and Hospice of Havasu for another fantastic monthly birthday celebration and a lively round of Trivia! 🧠🎂 Our residents had a blast keeping their minds sharp and their spirits high — we truly appreciate the joy and energy you bring each month! 💙

🎰 And let’s not forget our Tuesday outing to Havasu Landing Resort & Casino! The sun was shining, the slots were spinning, and Judy walked away with a whopping $35 win! 💵💃 Meanwhile, Peter claims he "needs more money" — better luck (and maybe a bigger budget) next time, Peter! 😄

🌮🎉 Taco Fiesta Fun! 🎉🌮

Yesterday, we turned up the flavor and the fun at our Taco Fiesta! Huge thanks to our amazing Chef Bradley for the delicious food. 🎶 The music was flowing, the margaritas were pouring, and the dance floor was full of joy as residents and staff danced the afternoon away!

Special shout-out to everyone who helped set up—your hard work made the day extra special. 🧡 Many of our residents said this was one of their favorite events yet… and they’re already asking when the next fiesta will be! 🌟

Today we had a wonderful time at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, enjoying a delightful Outing filled with arts and crafts, great conversation, music and delicious food and drinks. We’re so grateful to Dementia Connections for inviting us to their monthly Memory Café. It was a fantastic experience, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome and meaningful moments shared.
