🍨 Sweet Memories & Sundaes! 🎨✨
Last Thursday, our residents had the coolest time during a fun-filled outing with Dementia Connections for an Ice Cream Social!
We got creative with some colorful sundae themed paintings, played engaging games, and topped it all off with real sundaes complete with all the delicious toppings you can imagine! 😋🍒🍫
Thank you to our friends at Dementia Connections for such a joyful and meaningful afternoon. Moments like these remind us that fun, friendship, and a little sweetness go a long way! 💜 Cant wait for the next one!!

✨🍷 An Elegant Evening to Remember 🍷✨
This week, our community enjoyed a very special fancy dinner party! Each resident received a hand delivered invitation and arrived dressed in their finest attire. 💃🕺
Dinner featured chicken piccata, angel hair pasta, and baby potatoes, paired with wine and the soft sounds of classical music in the background. 🎶
Residents shared how much they loved having the chance to dress up, enjoy a beautiful meal, and admire the lovely table centerpieces. 🌹
Nights like these remind us that it’s the little touches that make the biggest memories. 💖

🐝 Buzzing with Joy for Assisted Living Week! 🐝
Today’s theme was all about the bees, and we sure had a honey of a time! 🍯🎉
We kicked off the day with an incredible performance by the talented Terry Hobble, who had us all tapping our feet to some unforgettable tunes 🎶. There were plenty of sweet drinks, buzz-worthy bites, and music that made everyone’s spirits soar 🎶✨.
A big shoutout to our amazing staff who even got into the spirit by rocking some adorable bumblebee costumes 🐝! Our residents were all smiles, and we couldn’t be happier seeing everyone so full of joy and laughter.
Thank you to everyone who made this day so special. It’s moments like these that make Assisted Living Week truly unforgettable! 💛

🍝 A Taste of Italy at Avista!🍝
Yesterday, we hosted an unforgettable Italian bistro lunch party, and boy, was it a mustache-tically good time! 😄✨
Our residents and staff came together to enjoy a delicious spread of Chicken Parmesan, grilled fresh veggies, garlic bread, and a sweet finish of Italian ice for dessert. Oh, and we couldn’t forget the Italian soda to wash it all down! 🍝🍧🍹
Everyone got into the spirit, rocking fake mustaches for a bit of fun and flair (we might have grown them ourselves 😉). It was a blast seeing everyone enjoy good food, good company, and of course, good mustaches! 🧔🍝
A huge thanks to our staff and residents for making it such a special day! We’ll be dreaming of this meal for a long time... or at least until our next party! 🎉🇮🇹

We want to give a huge shoutout to our wonderful employee, Christine, for going above and beyond today! Not only did she come in early before her shift, but she surprised us all by bringing in the cutest little visitors 4 day old Silkie chicken hatchlings! 🐣💖
The residents were absolutely delighted and couldn't stop smiling as they held and admired these adorable little chicks. It was such a sweet moment that brought so much joy and laughter to everyone here! 🐔✨
Christine, your kindness and thoughtfulness truly brighten our days. We are so lucky to have you as part of our team! 🙏💕

🌟 A Heartwarming Day at Memory Café 🌟
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dementia Connections for inviting us to the wonderful Memory Café event! 💜
Our residents had an incredible time enjoying a picnic style lunch 🧺 , sharing laughs, and making new memories with both new friends and familiar faces. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was decorating paper bags for a community food drive. Everyone came together to color, pack food donations, and support our local food bank who stopped by to pick up the beautifully packed bags. The gratitude and smiles were truly unforgettable. 🛍️💕
We also had a blast playing games like:
🎰 Human Slot Machine – our residents hit the jackpot and walked away with some fun prizes!
🕹️ Simon Says – filled with laughs and quick reflexes
🎈 Balloon Toss – the perfect way to end a day full of joy and connection
Thank you again to Dementia Connections for bringing us all together in such a meaningful way. Days like these remind us of the power of community. 💫

🎉 Tuesday was full of fun, laughter, and love at Avista!
We kicked things off with some friendly competition playing seated cup pong while jamming to great music 🎶 Our residents showed off their skills and had a blast!
A big THANK YOU to Chancity from Hospice Of Havsu for hosting another amazing Trivia Tuesday 🧠💡—your energy and kindness make it a favorite every week!
We also celebrated a beautiful birthday lunch honoring four of our cherished residents Happy Birthday to Kathy, Martha, Caridad, and Bud! 🥳🎂 You are all so loved!
And of course, our hearts were full thanks to Love on a Leash for visiting us during exercise time with all the sweet pups 🐾🐶 — a much-needed break and a whole lot of tail wags and smiles!
