Hey y'all!!!!! It is officially the first day of fall! 🍂🎃🦃🐿🦔🍁🥧☕️
If you live in the south, though, especially SETX you know it still feels like summer 😩😅

Either way, with this new season upon us, it brings forth my favorite time of year! Not only because of the crisp mornings ahead, or all the holiday baking I'll get to partake in, BUT it's PEEL SEASON!!!

Why is fall/winter traditionally marketed as "peel season"? Typically because of reduced sun exposure. During the spring and summer, we are out by the pool/beach/lake ect, and the sun is high in the sky taking its toll on the skin. During the fall and winter months, we usually have less sun exposure and spend more time in indoor spaces, which is optimal for keeping your skin healthy during the peeling process.
