FAMILIES WITH SENSORY-SENSITIVE CHILDREN:
Typhoon Texas is inviting you to a FREE “Quiet Waters” Morning Event on July 25
Families with sensory-sensitive children are invited to a free morning at Typhoon Texas on Friday, July 25 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Typhoon Texas will be transformed into a low-stimulation environment tailored to children with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders, or other special needs.
The “Quiet Waters” event will have no background music, no spray features, and reduced crowds for minimal sensory stimulation. Plus, guests will enjoy early entry before the park opens to the general public.
The event is free for the honored child and one accompanying chaperone. Tickets for additional guests, $10 each, are available for purchase at the park entrance.
“Quiet Waters reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusion and accessibility by offering guests of all abilities the opportunity to experience the fun of Typhoon Texas in a supportive setting,” said John Pham, marketing director for Typhoon Texas.
Space is available on a first-come first-serve basis.
