We’re excited to introduce Joe Vasquez, Nurse Practitioner, to Elite Primary & Palliative Care.

Joe will be the primary palliative provider caring for patients both in clinic and through home-based visits, ensuring continuity, comfort, and personalized care at every stage.

As we step into a new season, we are honored to share an important milestone in the life of our practice.

Elite Primary Care & Wellness is now Elite Primary & Palliative Care.

This rebrand reflects what has always been at the heart of Elite: compassionate, relationship-based care for patients with complex medical needs—delivered with dignity, presence, and purpose. As our community continues to grow and the needs of our patients deepen, we felt called to formally expand our services to include palliative care, allowing us to walk alongside patients and families with greater support, coordination, and compassion.

Along with this exciting launch, we are honored to introduce Joe Vasquez, AGNP-C, who will be joining Elite Primary & Palliative Care as the lead provider for palliative care services.

Joe will serve as the primary provider delivering palliative care through both in-clinic visits and home-based care, focusing on geriatric patients and those with complex or chronic medical conditions. His clinical background, calm presence, and patient-centered approach align seamlessly with Elite’s mission to provide care that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

This season marks more than a name change. It represents growth with intention, deeper service to our community, and a renewed commitment to providing care that truly feels like home.

We are grateful for the trust of our patients, families, and referral partners, and we look forward to continuing this journey—now as Elite Primary & Palliative Care.

Public Announcement – Elite Primary Care & Wellness

We are deeply saddened to share that our supervising physician, Dr. Michael Romain has recently passed away. Out of respect for this loss and in compliance with Texas law, Elite Primary Care & Wellness will temporarily pause all patient visits, appointments, and new patient scheduling until a new supervising physician agreement is in place.

Please know: Natalie Roman APRN, FNP-C remains your primary care provider. This pause is temporary, and services will resume as soon as our transition is complete.

During this time, we are grateful to share that Dr. Mauli Dalal has kindly agreed to see any of Natalie’s existing patients for interim care. If you are an established Elite patient and have urgent medical needs, you may contact Dr. Dalal’s office directly, or seek care through urgent care or emergency services if necessary.

We also want to take a moment to honor Dr. Romain. For the last four years, he served as Natalie’s supervising physician, and his expertise, mentorship, and commitment to excellence have forever shaped both her practice and the culture of care at Elite. His impact will remain woven into the heart of our mission.

We will provide updates promptly once services are able to resume. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued trust in Elite Primary Care & Wellness. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Romain’s family during this difficult time.
