John R. Barnhart, MA, LPC Individual Counseling Prior to pursuing a career in mental health counseling, John worked in the power generation industry as an engineer and project manager.

John Barnhart has a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University and received the Outstanding Student Award upon graduation. John has taught high school algebra and college psychology courses. In addition to teaching, he has experience as a college level academic counselor. John's counseling interest is individual therapy for 18 years and older for anger, anxiety, depress

ion, PTSD, and trauma. Utilizing EMDR a variety of other issues like OCD and pain disorders can be treated as well.
