When we suggest hormone therapy for our patients, often times one of the biggest fears and hesitation of women are around cancer risks. The FDA has now removed the black-box warning for cancer from estradiol and other menopausal hormone therapies.

Hormone therapy does not increase overall cancer mortality and can safely and effectively relieve symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. This was an outdated warning and no longer represents what we know and practice today. It’s time we replace fear with facts and help women make confident and informed decisions.

About Us

At Brazosport Women’s Health, we combine passion and professionalism to provide state-of-the-art gynecological care locally here in Lake Jackson.

Since it was established in November 2010, our practice has received strong support from the community and local providers across Brazoria County. We have partnered with CHI St. Luke’s Health Brazosport to build a strong surgical gynecological center and together, have received and maintained a Center of Excellence designation for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery since 2014.

In July of 2016, Mrs. Jennifer Monical, Family Nurse Practitioner joined our practice in order to serve the needs of our community more fully.​Supported by caring and attentive office and clinical staff, we continually strive to provide the best care possible to satisfy the needs of our patients. Our mission is to create an environment to deliver comprehensive care, where women feel safe and welcome to discuss all their health care issues.

Brazosport Women’s Health specializes in the treatment of endometriosis and pelvic pain, female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. We also provide excellent preventative women's health care and treatment of general women's health problems.
