HOW TO FIND MY RECENT LOCATIONS ON AN iPhone:
If you were to get sick with a virus,
one of the first things they are going to ask you is,
“Where have you been and whom might have gotten exposed to the virus you carry.”
The easiest way to find this information is to use the device we carry everywhere we go…our cell phone. By looking up your recent locations you can print or document where you’ve been for your healthcare provider and family. By saving it in the form of screen shots or photos; you can send it to a local printer or share it via text or email quickly and easily.
For an iPhone you can visit this website for directions with pictures and more information.

Or follow these steps:
1. Open the SETTINGS app on your iPhone and tap on “PRIVACY”.
2. Then tap on LOCATION SERVICES.
3. You’ll see the location tracking permissions for every app you have installed.
4. Scroll down to the very bottom of your list of apps, and you’ll see the SYSTEM SERVICES.
5. Now things will start to get interesting…. Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see FREQUENT LOCATIONS, which is enabled alongside the rest of the iPhone’s Location Services.
6. Under HISTORY, you’ll see your iPhone’s GPS location history. If you’ve traveled between multiple cities, the location logs will be broken up into different lists.
7. Tap on a city’s name to see a map view of where your iPhone has been. If you have certain locations labeled already, their respective names will be displayed instead of the street name.
8. Apple calls this log your “frequent” locations, but places you’ve visited only once are displayed as well.
9. If you tap on a specific location, you can see the time stamps of when you’ve arrived to and left that location.
10. Apple says that this location data is “kept solely on your device and won’t be sent to Apple without your consent. It will be used to provide you with personalized services, such as predictive traffic routing.”
11. TO PRINT your recent locations: You can take screen shots of the screen stating your locations and send those photos to your nearest printer or send them via text or email to anyone you need too.
Or use the LIFE 360 app:
You can also download an app called; LIFE 360 to your phone. From the minute you set it up it can tell you where you and your family members are (that you link to your phone). This is great for families who need to keep track of each other’s locations on trips, children’s devices, and so on. For our purpose, it will tell you not only where you are now, but where you have been for the past 2 days (free version) and the paid version of the app tracks for even longer. This way you can tell your doctor where you have been, but also those closest to you (who might also carry the virus).
1. Download and set up the app.
2. Once set up, click the family member you wish to track.
3. TO PRINT your recent locations: You can take screen shots of the screen stating your locations and send those photos to your nearest printer or send them via text or email to anyone you need too.
The next time you need to remember exactly where you've been on a map, consult your iPhone.
