These photos are both me, 1 year apart.
In the first, it is my daughter's 2nd birthday. I'd had a miscarriage about a month earlier, I had a grade 3 uterine prolapse from my daughter's birth (having had reparatory surgery to fix 2 other prolapses 18 months prior), I had painful arthritis in both hands and feer. I was miserable, my hormones were a mess, I couldn't exercise, my moods were out of control, and I had put on weight that I wasn't used to having. But mostly, I was miserable.
The second photo is a day after my daughter's 3rd birthday. I had healed my uterine prolapse completely, eliminated the arthritis in both my hands and feet, my hormones were more in balance, and I was back to strength training 6 days a week because it made me happy.
I did all of that by changing my diet and changing how I exercised. No medication was involved. No doctors were involved. Just me. I had reached rock bottom and found no one to help me, so I studied and researched to become the one to help myself.
The world and social media are full of people shouting about the next fad diet. Count calories; get in an ice bath; put butter in your coffee; don't drink coffee; don't eat fruit; definitely go vegan...it's exhausting and overwhelming.
I learned because I was overwhelmed. I want to share my knowledge and expertise with other women. I don't want anyone to feel the despair that I felt and be alone.
