July was clavicle (collarbone) month. Here’s are different fractures ranging from acute displaced to chronic non union over 4 years old. After putting the pieces back together I hold them in place using plate and screws.

Massive rotator cuff tear involving multiple tendons! This involved the subscapularis (front) and supra and infraspinatus (top two) rotator cuff tendons. The tissue is scarred down and retracted making repair difficult. Once the tissue is mobilized I secured the tendon to the bone with anchors and placed the Regeneten implant for healing and new tissue growth.

Biceps tendon or front of the shoulder pain ? A common pain generator in the shoulder is the biceps tendon where it attaches deep inside the shoulder to the labrum. Here I do what's called a biceps tenodesis, where the tendon is cut and moved further down on the bone to alleviate pain.

This is an all inside meniscus repair. This device deploys a small anchor behind the meniscus and sutures are used to tension the repair all through a minimally invasive technique.

Bucket handle medial meniscus tear.

This is a large medial meniscus tear that got trapped in the knee blocking motion. In the video it got stuck next to the ACL. With knee arthroscopy I was able to reduce the meniscus tissue and repair it.

By fixing instead of just taking it out we hope to prevent severe arthritis in the future. Save the meniscus!
