Diabetes Alert Day is a great reminder to assess your risk for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes 💚
I recently took the risk assessment on the ADA website and while tools like that can be helpful, they don’t always tell the full story.
We can’t rely on a once-a-year screening and then put our health on the back burner just because it says “low risk.”
Our bodies are constantly changing.
Our lifestyle, nutrition, stress, and sleep shift throughout the year and those changes can lead to early signs of imbalance long before a diagnosis.
That’s why I focus on patterns, not just a score.
