🎄 The holidays can be a time of joy, but also a time when many people quietly struggle.

Here’s what the research says:
✅ The highest rate of child psychiatric hospitalizations happens during winter.
✅ Dissatisfaction and loneliness are the most common symptoms of the holiday blues.
✅ About 40% of adults feel heightened social anxiety around the holidays.
✅ Poor sleep, diet, and alcohol use can make stress, anxiety, and depression worse.
✅ The holiday blues are not the same as clinical depression, but short-term struggles can lead to more serious issues if ignored.

👉 The takeaway? Even if the holidays aren’t the “most wonderful time of the year,” you’re not alone and help is always available.
