Most patients who have cavities are good candidates for fillings. Pediatric patients as well as adults can have fillings placed, since they prevent the spread of decay that would eventually lead to needing a root canal. The procedure is quick, easy and can be done in under a half hour in our office. Multiple fillings can be placed, if needed, at the same appointment depending on the location of the filling needed within the mouth.
