Chronic diseases are among the leading causes of death and account for the majority of healthcare spending, yet most of this money goes toward treatment rather than prevention. Conditions like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s are often driven by poor nutrition, lack of movement, chronic stress, insufficient sleep, and environmental factors.

The encouraging news? Studies show that up to 80% of chronic conditions can be delayed or prevented by addressing these root factors. That’s why, at Lake Oswego Health Center, we focus on comprehensive testing, personalized lifestyle strategies, and nutrition as medicine, intervening early to reduce risk and improve long-term outcomes.

We’re here to support your health every step of the way. Schedule an appointment at 503-505-9806 or visit www.lakeoswegohealth.com.

Ozone therapy is increasingly used in aesthetic medicine for its ability to support tissue regeneration, improve circulation, and enhance overall skin health. Research into its dermatological applications continues to grow, with promising results in both skin and vascular concerns.

When applied through targeted ozone injections and supported with medical-grade ozonated skincare, this integrated approach can address:
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Cellulite
• Spider and varicose veins
• Skin laxity and uneven texture

By improving oxygenation at the cellular level, ozone therapy helps stimulate collagen production and supports natural skin repair. It offers a safe, non-surgical solution for skin rejuvenation.

You can read more about how ozone therapy works and its aesthetic benefits in this month’s newsletter. Visit our website in our bio or call us at 503-505-9806.

Microneedling is a well-researched treatment shown to support scalp health and hair growth. By creating controlled micro-injuries in the scalp, it activates the body’s natural healing response, increasing blood circulation, releasing growth factors, and stimulating collagen production around hair follicles. This process helps stimulate dormant follicles and can strengthen existing hair for improved thickness and density.

Microneedling also enhances the absorption of topical treatments and growth serums, allowing them to pe*****te more effectively and deliver greater results. When combined with a comprehensive approach that considers hormones, nutrition, and overall health, microneedling can play a key role in restoring hair and preventing further loss.

📞 Call us at 503-505-9806 to schedule your consultation and learn how microneedling can support your hair restoration journey.

08/27/2025

Recurrent infections, prolonged fatigue, and delayed recovery are often clinical indicators of underlying immune dysfunction. When immune defenses are compromised, the body has difficulty mounting an effective response to pathogens, leaving you more susceptible to illness. Contributing factors may include nutrient deficiencies, chronic inflammation, hormonal dysregulation, and persistent stressors.

This is why addressing root causes matters. Treating symptoms alone may provide temporary relief, but without identifying what’s driving frequent illness, the cycle continues. By uncovering and treating these underlying imbalances, it’s possible to reduce illness frequency, improve recovery, restore energy, and protect long-term health.

At LOHC, our approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness while incorporating lifestyle strategies such as improving sleep quality, managing stress, supporting gut health, and optimizing nutrition to support optimal immune function.

📞 Schedule a consultation with one of our providers to determine the best plan to strengthen your immune system and support your overall health. To book your appointment, call or text 503-505-9806.

Glutathione is often called the master antioxidant because of the powerful role it plays in your health. It protects your cells from damage, helps remove toxins, supports steady energy, and even promotes healthy, radiant skin.

Over time, however, your natural levels can become depleted, leaving you more vulnerable to fatigue, slower recovery, or changes in skin health. That’s why keeping your glutathione stores balanced is so important for both how you feel and how you age.

Schedule a consultation with one of our providers to determine the best way for you to replenish glutathione and support your overall wellness. 📞 To schedule your appointment, call or text 503-505-9806.
