We’re thrilled to kick off our brand-new Spring Ahead program — a 10-week, once-a-week learning opportunity just for our amazing staff! This past Wednesday, 15 team members kicked off the first session by diving into 'My Life Now,' reflecting on where they are and where they want to grow.

This program is all about personal growth, building confidence, and gaining practical life and work skills. We’re so proud of our team for taking this step and can’t wait to see how they grow each week!

From the anchor desk to the green screen, we learned how the team brings us the latest updates — but it didn’t stop there! We also got a glimpse into how they produce their online news and even their podcasts.

We had a fantastic time celebrating Independence Day with a classic BBQ, complete with delicious ribs hot off the grill!

The patio was packed with families enjoying the sunshine, sparklers, and all-around great vibes.

One of the highlights? Our Balance & Dance group surprised everyone with a line dance performance to Katy Perry’s Firework — and the crowd loved it! 🎆

Our Farmers Market this Wednesday was full of sunshine, fresh produce, and great company!

The real hit? The yellow watermelon—sweet, juicy, and a total crowd-pleaser! But the highlight of the day had to be our amazing 101-year-old resident showing off her signature dance move with one of our waitstaff.

This year, nominations from residents and families poured in, each one spotlighting a teammate who makes quality shine. Rising to the top was a story poured straight from the heart.

Meet Michael Robbins, bartender at The Springs at Happy Valley and guardian angel behind the bar. Michael doesn't just remember favorite cocktails; he remembers favorite stories. When a resident began choking, he calmly delivered the Heimlich and saved their life. Weeks later he noticed another guest’s speech change mid-order, alerted the team, and had 911 on the way within moments.

Yet ask anyone and they’ll say Michael’s real superpower is the everyday stuff: the warm greeting that starts dinner service, the listening ear, the way he makes every person feel like the only person in the room.

Michael, thank you for living One Thing every day and reminding us that quality starts with heart. Raise a glass to our 2025 One Thing Award winner!
