My heart aches learning the news of my mentor Wrendy Marcinik, may she rest in peace 🤍 grateful to her for the knowledge, space, and connection she offered me. My heart is with Renate Brodecker and the rest of her family at this time. Though I no longer live in the Lake community, I know it won’t be the same without her. Love & light 🕯️✨

OUR PET FOOD PANTRY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!! We are completely out of dry DOG FOOD and very low on dry CAT FOOD in our community pet food pantry.

Any brand of adult dog or cat dry food is greatly appreciated to help lake area pet owners in need. Times are difficult for many people, and sometimes a bag of food each month is enough to help keep a beloved family pet from needing to be rehomed.

Donations can be dropped off in person at the shelter building Monday-Saturday between 10:30am and 4pm. We also accept open bags of food, so if your kitty or pooch is picky and doesn't like what was previously bought for them, we will gladly take it off your hands!
