🌟 Team Member of the Month: Sarah Martinson 🌟

Sarah is efficient, organized, and understanding. Over her years at Sunnyside Care Center, she has excelled in multiple roles and is currently our MDS nurse. Sarah goes above and beyond, assisting in doctor rounds, charge nurse duties, and more. Her fellow team members praise her willingness to listen and help, even when busy. With great attention to detail and a kind heart, she truly embodies teamwork. We are lucky to have her on the Sunnyside Team! Congratulations, Sarah! 🎉

Employee of the Month: Anita Bendickson, Director of Nursing, Sunnyside
Since joining Sunnyside in May 2021, Anita Bendickson has exemplified dedication, leadership, and compassion in every aspect of her role as Director of Nursing. Her commitment to excellence is evident in the way she consistently ensures the building is properly staffed, supports her team with the resources they need, and actively works to improve operational efficiency.
Anita is more than just a leader; she’s a mentor and a steady presence. Always just a phone call or text away, she makes herself available to staff, not only for work-related matters but also for genuine conversations that build trust and camaraderie. Her ability to connect with others on a personal level makes her a pillar of the Sunnyside community.
Outside of work, Anita is a proud and devoted mother of three, spending her free time cheering them on in basketball, football, and volleyball. Her energy, empathy, and tireless work ethic make her truly deserving of this recognition.
