I am a bit hesitant to begin typing this, I am sure I will be humbled shortly after…

Tonight, after putting the kids to bed, I had a moment of calm, realizing part of this parenting journey is (finally) feeling easier. My kids are now 6 and 4 and they are independently able to do some of the tasks that I found myself completing day after day. I was able to move on to the next task as they were finishing up part of the nightly routine on their own.

I know I will be met with more parenting challenges that I can’t begin to imagine down the road, but for now, I am going to enjoy this sliver of peace.

For those mommas who are in the thick of it with super young babies and toddlers…here is another momma telling you parts of this journey do get easier
