Eric Fromm quote:

“The task we must set is not to feel secure, but to be able to tolerate insecurity.”

The ability to tolerate stress, distress and insecurity is a key trait of good mental health. Too many people focus on staying within one’s comfort zone, which fosters weakness, not strength. This orientation of “playing it safe” will erode your confidence and shrink your world. We need to stretch our muscles and lean into the pain to keep our bodies limber. Similarly, we need to stretch our capacity for tolerating fear and emotional discomfort in order to stay emotionally and mentally flexible and resilient.

Sad, but true. Also, I agree that using psychedelic therapy to deconstruct and reconstruct the narcissistic personality is probably the only way to effectively treat narcissism.

The life purpose of every person on the planet is love. There are many ways to express love—service, creativity, community building, parenting, sacrifice, friendship, teaching, growing healthy food, cooking and sharing healthy and delicious meals, housing the homeless, clothing the naked, kindness, compassion, respect, forgiveness and much, much more. These are acts of love, but they are not your purpose. Your purpose is love, to be love, to live love, to speak love, to dream love, to walk in the way of love. Your gifts and talents are the gifts and talents of love, so honor and respect them by cultivating them and generously sharing them with others. Thus aligned with the truth of your being, which is the truth of all beings everywhere, you will love your life.

Hi folks. I’ve received a message from Facebook informing me that they intend to cancel my page because of some post I made that violates policy. I have no idea what post they are referring to because they didn’t identify it. 🤷🏻 I’m attempting to get some clarity about this matter to rectify it, but if I’m not successful, then i want you all to know why I disappeared. This is bewildering and annoying.
