The incredible Jeannie Rice just keeps getting faster and faster….🏃‍♀️

The 76-year-old marathoner won the master’s W75-79 age category at the TCS London Marathon 2024 by a whopping 30 minutes!
⁠
She also broke her own world record—set just last October in Chicago—by more than a minute, finishing this race in 3:33:27—that’s an incredible 8:08 mile pace.

This isn’t the only record Rice holds; she’s completed all 6 Abbott World Marathons and holds the win in her age category for each one.⁠

Not one to rest on her laurels (or past accomplishments), she told Runner’s World that she was hoping to finish closer to 3:30

“I fell off in the last few miles… I guess I’ll have to figure it out and run better in Berlin.”
