Hey everybody, it’s Carl, co-founder of the Daily Ridge. I just wanted to thank Miss Catherine Barnes for doing an excellent job hemming my tuxedo pants.

I’m a procrastinator and I’ll wait until the last minute to get things done, and Miss Catherine bailed me out big time. I’m attending the Winter Haven Hospital Foundation Gala tomorrow night and realized my pants were a little too long. Not only did she fix them quickly, but she also gave me some great life advice and shared a little bit about Christianity and spirituality with me.

You wouldn’t believe it, but she’s 81 years old and feels blessed every day to still be working. I don’t often need clothing alterations, but I’ll definitely stop by again just to chit-chat.

If you ever need alterations done, go see Miss Barnes. She is truly a blessing to this community, and she has such a beautiful story behind her business.
